Professional Development

Almost all early childhood educators use music in their classrooms in some way, but for the most part, it is only used for entertainment or a specific activity, like cleaning up or packing up at the end of the day.

In our meaningful and inspiring workshops, we support teachers to shift their thinking to using high-quality music learning in the classroom to support learning outcomes, build safe and happy classroom communities, and greatly increase their positive interactions with each student. We also focus on using music to support the mental health of teachers and prevent burnout.

Administrators and teachers leave inspired, energized, and with simple tools to use right away.

Growing Together in Practice

We know that real growth and change only happen when teachers feel supported. We are committed to providing that support for their professional growth and development, creating pathways for long lasting, positive change.   In our 2-hour workshops, facilitated by our Founder Mary, we explore:

The Why: Understand why using high-quality music in the classroom supports students’ brain development and social-emotional skill development like nothing else can.

The What: Create a Morning Circle Time plan filled with music learning, learn how to use music for tricky transitions, and gain a toolbox full of songs, poems, finger plays, and movement activities.

The How: Experience the power of engaging with music together to spark joy, build community, and improve our overall sense of wellbeing.

We strongly recommend two sessions per school year to give your teachers the support they need to truly grow and develop their teaching practice.  This allows our team to get to know you, your staff and school personally ~ which is one of our favorite things to do! ~ and we can customize each session to better fit your needs. Each session is $200, plus any traveling fees if you are located more than 75 miles from our homebase.
